Pak Water & Energy Expo 2024 Kicks Off in Karachi

The Pak Water & Energy Expo (PWE) has officially opened today, December 3, 2024, at the Karachi Expo Center. This three-day event is one of the largest gatherings focused on water management and energy production in the region, bringing together industry professionals, policymakers, and exhibitors from around the world.

Key Highlights:

  • Inauguration: The expo was inaugurated by Sindh’s Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani and Provincial Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, who emphasized the importance of sustainable water and energy solutions for both daily life and industrial operations.
  • Exhibitors: Over 60 exhibitors from various countries, including China, Turkey, Morocco, Australia, Egypt, and the USA, are showcasing their latest technologies across 175 stalls.
  • Workshops: A workshop titled “Reinventing the Textile Circular Economy” is also being held on the first day, highlighting innovative approaches within the textile industry.
