
Five Factories Sealed in Quetta Over Illegal Water Connections
QUETTA: Special Magistrate of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Habib-ur-Rehman Kakar has launched a crackdown on illegal water connections in the Gawalmandi Chowk and Haji Ghaibi Road areas, disconnecting unauthorised water connections at several factories.
During the operation, five factories were sealed for violating regulations, while their owners were also issued legal notices.
WASA officials said the action was aimed at preventing the unauthorised use of water and ensuring that water connections were used in accordance with the rules.
The officials made it clear that illegal water connections and unauthorised consumption of water would not be tolerated. They said action against those involved in illegal use of water would continue in accordance with the law.
